The Outcome-Based Assessment (OBA) comprises a two-stage assessment process. The first stage involves a computer-based Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) exam, and passing it is a prerequisite for advancing to the next stage.
In stage two, a Behavioural Assessment takes place in the form of an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). This examination is designed to ensure that internationally qualified nurses and midwives (IQNMs) demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and competence at a level equivalent to that of a graduate Australian nurse or midwife.

Ready to take the next step?
Mode of Delivery: (Online)
- English test preparation for IELTS, OET and PTE.
- Register for AHPRA Registration process assistance
- NCLEX-RN preparatory sessions
- Enrol in one of the two courses given below and complete the theory part online
- CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) OR
- HLT33115 – Certificate III in Health Service Assistance

Eligibility Criteria:
- Have completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Be a registered nurse with the Nurses’ Board/Council from the country of origin or place of residence.
Step 02: Process
Registering as RN in Australia
Your dream job as an Assistant in Nursing awaits – Are you ready to make it a reality?
The MWT Australia Job Placement pathway is a tailored option for candidates aiming to fast-track their integration into the Australian healthcare workforce. This pathway is ideal for candidates who are ready to employ their skills in an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) role while finalising their registration process within six months.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Meet at least one of the below English Language Proficiency Test Requirements:
- IELTS Overall, 6.5 with no bands less than 6
- PTE Overall, 56 with no band less than 46
- OET with no bands less than B
- Advancement in the AHPRA application process – Initial Assessment to be completed.
- Successful completion of NCLEX-RN exam.
- Minimum 1 year of practical nursing experience.
Comprehensive Services and Components Included:
- Completion of a 120 hours of Practical Experience Placement (PEP) within Australia, which fulfills the requirement for the enrolled Certificate III qualification (If Opted by the candidate in Stage 1).
- Individualised training including specialized OSCE training provided by IHM Australia, designed to prepare candidates for success in their OSCE examination.
- Job placement assistance through MWT Australia’s network of partnering employers, offering positions as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) or Personal Care Worker.
