The M.Tech. Petroleum engineering course offered at MIT-WPU have been developed keeping in mind the requirements of the petroleum industry. The structure and syllabus contents are categorized as Engineering Core, Departmental Core, Departmental Electives, Humanities, and World Peace Program as well as Self-Study and Online Learning.
MIT-WPU Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Student Chapter organizes an “Annual Industry Institute Interaction Program (AIIIP)” which provides an opportunity for students to showcase their talent and skills to the industry through various activities and competitions. This, in turn, serves to increase industry network, enhance understanding and upgrade skills for employment opportunities.

Applicants to this program are expected to have a background in Petroleum, Petrochemical, Polymer, Chemical. Production and Instrumentation, Marine Engineering or equivalent.
