Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement to sponsor overseas workers for the TSS (subclass 482) visa
Employers in the healthcare industry are now able to utilize the Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement to sponsor overseas workers for the Temporary Skill Shortage (subclass 482) visa in direct care occupations such as:
- Nursing Support Worker
- Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
- Aged or Disabled Carer
To access the Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement, aged care providers must first enter into an MoU with the relevant unions(s):
- Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation
- Health Services Union or
- United Workers Union
The 482 Visa is a temporary visa that allows an individual to work in Australia for up to four years, while the 186 Visa is a permanent visa that allows an individual to work and live in Australia indefinitely.
Eligibility in a Nutshell
Qualification- GNM / BSc.N / PBSc.N / Health Care Professional
Language- IELTS Academic 5.5 with individual 5.0 preferable / OET B / PTE 38
Experience- Minimum 2 years of Experience in health care (Currently working desirable)
Age- Actually no age limit but better to take under 45
Gap in Work Experience- Not more than 4 years
